Breathe as a Red Dot Design Award winner

We are excited to announce that Breathe has won a Red Dot Design Award as an innovative product in 2021.

The award ceremony will take place this Summer and our air purifier will be displayed in the Red Dot Design Museums in Essen (Germany), in Singapore and in the MOMA in NYC. 

The distinction “Red Dot” has become established internationally as one of the most sought-after seals of quality for good design and is aimed at all those who would like to distinguish their business through design. Excellent design is selected by competent expert juries in the areas of product design, communication design, and design concepts.

The competition has run for 65 years and has awarded products such as the Apple MacBook & Apple Pencil, the Dyson Pure Cool Link and the Honda e electric car.

In 2020 for the first time, distinctions were awarded in the new meta category “Innovative Products”, which show across different categories how new materials, new technologies, new ways of thinking and new design approaches can inspire future product worlds and ourselves.    

The timing of the introduction of these two categories to the competition was perfect, as the coronavirus crisis brings into sharp focus just how important it is to find solutions that limit our personal freedom as little as possible. It also shows how much innovative power is needed to respond flexibly and creatively to new situations.

And this is exactly why we are so proud to have received this award, as bringing back some personal freedom in an attractive and elegant shell is what our product stands for.
