In December 2020 Breathe was certified by Germany's leading institute of technology, KIT, to reduce bacteria and viruses, including Covid-19.

One Breathe air purification unit was put to the test in a 133 cubic meter room. After one hour it had reduced Covid-19 particles in the air by 96%. The cleaning performance is subject to room size, layout and installation. With ongoing use Breathe reduces particles by 99.9%.

Meet Dr. Rainer Kling.

Dr. Kling has a long history in academia. Starting as a lecturer of Laser & Optics at the University of Karlsruhe, he moved on to working at one of Germany’s leading lighting companies, Osram GmbH. He is now Department Head for The Lighting Institute: Light, electronic ballast and plasma technologies at KIT.
